- After a long career as a software engineer, I side-stepped into technical writing and editing. I was "retired" when the technology bubble burst in 2001. I was born and reared in Arkansas. I have also lived in Kansas, Guam, New Mexico, Texas, Denmark, Virginia, and Pennsylvania, where my wife and I now live.
